Detroit Lions vs Minnesota Vikings This Thanksgiving

What team will you be rooting for this Thanksgiving when the Detroit Lions showdown with the Minnesota Vikings? The Lions always host a game in Detroit on Turkey Day and this year Matthew Stafford is looking for another win against Case Keenum.

I'll admit our office will be cheering on the Lions, but it'll be fun to see Keenum, formerly of our local Houston Texans, play. Whether you'll be indulging in the holiday football games or not, we hope you all have a wonderful and fulfilling Thanksgiving holiday! Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings Showdown Tonight!

We are just hours away from tonight's much anticipated Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings showdown. These long time division rivals are sure to put on a good show. Jordy Nelson is back for the Packers, after all. Meanwhile, the Vikings still haven't announced who their starting quarterback will be for this matchup, making the Packers the slight betting favorites.

Even though this is only the second game of the season, tempers are hot. The Vikings trail the Packers in wins in this NFC North’s series history. To win tonight, Adrian Peterson will have to overcome the stalemate the Packers defense held him to in their last two meetings. On the other side of the field, Green Bay has multiple players out with hamstring injuries, which means they’ll have to get creative to keep Peterson under control.

New England Patriots In the News

The New England Patriots are having a rough week! Tom Brady's Deflategate debacle just won't go away and he has once again been served a four game suspension. Heading into the 2016 season, Patriots fans are preparing to cheer on James Garoppolo while he covers for Brady against the Arizona Cardinals, Miami Dolphins, Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills.

Bill Belichick won't say how he'll get both quarterbacks the practice time they need. Brady is allowed to play in preseason games despite not being allowed to work out with teammates. The team and coaching staff are definitely going to be under a microscope.

Meanwhile, wide receiver Julian Edelman has been slapped with a lawsuit by Swedish model Ella Rose regarding the paternity of her unborn child. It is reported that Edelman has confessed to being the father, but it may be a rough road ahead for the Patriots favorite.
