It's International Women's Day and if you've even glanced at the news this morning, you might have seen that after nearly 81 years, researchers think they've found Amelia Earhart's remains. Earhart and navigator Frederick Noonan disappeared July 2, 1937 somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Three years later in 1940 partial remains were found on the island, Nikumaroro, along with some artifacts that seemingly could have belonged to Earhart and Noonan.
Since being found the bones have been analyzed by several anthropologists, each with their own theory, but Richard Jantz, a University of Tennessee anthropology professor, thinks the signs more than likely point to the remains being those of the famed female aviator.
Also this week, Mattel announced that Amelia Earhart would be her own Barbie Doll! Along with other important female figures, Amelia will be unveiled as part of the toy's Inspiring Women line.

The Oscars are Tonight!
It's awesome to see a "comic book movie" up for an award. We'll definitely be rooting for Logan to win best adapted screenplay. We were a little torn, because Molly's Game is also nominated in this category and we can't help but love a movie about card games, but Logan was too epic to overcome!
For those rooting for the Brit films, we're here to help you represent! Grab our United Kingdom Flag Cribbage Pegs on sale now!
